From NFL Hits to Concrete Slams: Why Mike Greene is Skateboarding’s Most Inspiring Crossover
Who is Mike Greene?
Hear it from the source:
My name is Mike Greene and I played with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for three years. I’ve been playing football since I was 10, but I’ve been skateboarding for longer. We’ll call it my first love. But I think I like it so much because it’s so technical and teaches you real lessons and discipline like most sports do.

Mike Greene showed up on my feed about a month ago and I have been following along, engaging and really enjoying watching his journey. He is a big dude, so when he slams, he SLAAAAMMMMS.
He actually mentions that slams on a skateboard are worse than hits on an NFL field – pretty crazy shit, right!?!

Hitting the concrete vs. getting hit in the game are not the same!! The concrete spares no one!!
With the upcoming Golden Standard Podcast starting this summer, I would love the opportunity to interview him during the summer. At the least, maybe a little written Q&A! Who knows?
If you don’t already, give Mike a follow
